Ancients vs Storm of Armadyl

Which one would you use @ mb staking?

 

Ancients, blood barrage heals hp so wins hands down

 

Actually, storm of armadyl would win more times on average.

Especially if you have pid.

I actually conducted my own survey a while ago (sad i know), anyway, i did 30 MB stakes, 10M each. i won 21 and lost 9. This was spread into 3 days, 10 each day so it shows i wasn't just lucky.

 

Rstrader, did you use the PID thingy also?

 

No mate, I didn't. I literally just logged on over the 3 days and just started staking, I didn't use that method to check my pid, neither did I try increasing it.

 

SoA is the one I would use if I had the choice.

 

Did you ask this question because you plan on getting the spell? If so, just thought I'd let you know that there a hell of a lot of quests to do.

 

I did PID staking for a while. Would get like 95% of first hits. Won 700m doing that just for boxing over a few hundred matches at 10m per stake.

 

SoA is much more consistent, and although it doesn't heal, it will never hit zero like blood barrage commonly does.

 

I feel like Blood spells have been nerfed under certain conditions for staking, just my .02

Storm of Armadyl is much better for MB staking as you can probably tell by the above replies. In fact I actually quit MBing when it came out because I was at such a disadvantage.

I'm curious though, does any actually still use blood barrage? Cuz if they do, I might do the quests for SoA and get some free cash.

 

People still use Ancients , yeah and i'm justgoing to get SoA it's going to be a pain in the ass concerning the quests but i'm sure I can do it , a question though Do you need any runes/staff to cast SoA? And what about the new polypore staff?

 

1 Armadyl time is needed.

The new staff hits higher than SoA but isnt as accurate.

No quest requirements needed for the staff.

 

SoA > Ancients.
