Runescape requires me to update every time.

After dcing from Runescape, I get an error message on Runescape saying. Runescape has been updated. However there were no updates.
I get this everytime my net goes away and this is very irritating.
How could I solve this?

 

try uninstall all of your javas and re-downlaod them via the runescape start up screen.

If that dont work then sorriyy

Runescape has been loading extremely slowly lately.
I updated my JAVA and it seemed to help.

 

Its a problem with Runescape, the dcing has nothing to do with this, if your client seems to be up for over 5+ hours and you log, it says that it has been updated while its not

 

this helpd me aswell. also using the client works perfectly.

if nothing else works then post on runescape forums.

 

Nothing to do with Java. It's just a part of RS combating bots.

 

You're right, it's on jagex their side.

However they say they are trying to fix it.

 

clear your internet cache and try again

 

Its normal, its a part of JaGex anti bot system

 

There is/was this problem with rs that I was aware of and the besst person to contact for a solution would probs be jagex since they have delt with similar cases. Only thing you can do is mess with java and make sure you are up do date or try a dif browser/client

 

This isn't a glitch or anything it's part of jagex's attempts to stop the bots. That's why Rid and such had to make a feature where it refreshes the page when it logs out.

 

Also is it me or is there random lag spikes in the wild in only world 18 and 124.

 

i have the same problem and it says i have to reload the page and runescape have been taking quite a while to load ever since bot nuke

 

I am not good with this stuff but I wonder if it has to do with any security on your computer.

 

this started happining to me after the bot nuke, its probably something with how jagex is fighting them

 

It occurs when your IP changes, I'm guessing the client on startup binds to your IP and if your IP changes then you cant login so thats why you need to restart page.
