Its good to be back...

after getting temp. banned for silly infractions i recieved (most of them gravedug), its good to be back here on sythe. idk but in my opinion you admins/mod are way to strict and your definition of what "spamming" is needs to be more clear and lucid. Were my infractions warranted? Maybe-maybe not, but if I was in your position, I would have looked at my history of contribution to this site. I probably catch 4-5+ ban evaders a week (helping you admins/mods as well as ordinary members out) and could have given me a little bit of slack...

Anyways, this is not a rant and i have major respect for what you guys do, but my temp banned that caused me to miss the account ive been saving up for months to obtain. I just think you guys should slacken and clarify your definition of "spam." Its good to be back and i hope i dont get banned for something like this again :/

 

Spamming: (in general):
Posting short, unhelpful comments (such as "cool", "nice acc," etc). This also includes "Free Bumps" for another user's thread.
Flooding a forum with replies for the sole purpose of increasing post count. This may also be a permanent forumban in certain forums, especially if deliberate.
Posting comments with little to no relevance to the topic

Anyways, I really don't think the staff is "too strict" with spam at all. Gohan just posted the definition of spamming, and its pretty straightforward. I have 1.600+ posts and have yet to receive an infraction for spamming. Just make sure your posts are necessary, and don't give any of those free bumps and you will be good!

I personally thought your infractions were all warranted.

Also, we are not going to let your contributions to the website change the fact that you should be banned. We only do that in the case of a high pardon.

 

Catching 4 or 5 vaders a week doesn't mean you're allowed to spam. Anyways, locked.
