AMD vs. Intel i3

I might be getting a new computer, so can someone help me choose which one to pick, whats the difference? I'm pretty technologically stupid, and I'm switching from a Mac, if that helps?

 

Go for an i5 if you can. What do you want to do on the computer, what is your budget, and are you looking for a desktop or a laptop?

 

Intel all the way, and the i5's are really good and will last you a good while.

 

The exact thing I was going to say. Plus Intel's are easy"est" to work with.

 

I have about $500 ill mostly use for internet browsing and stuff and occaisionally running RS bots haha. if anyone can reccomend me a computer id really appreciate it.

 

Yup i3 is your best bet here. With a bit of effort you could probably get a good sale on a 6-700$ desktop, but I recommend

The main thing it lacks is a good GPU, but you do not really need that for games like Runescape and the like.
