Have you ever gotten banned for buying gold?

From what it sounds like you want to do, the chances of a ban are virtually non-existent.

I have a RWT ban on one of my accounts, but I had never actually RWT'd on it, so I don't know what's up with that. All the accounts that I buy/sell/MM on have never been banned and none of my customers have ever been banned.

 

Never, I've even got reported by people watching the trades. and I was fine.

I also too after buying gp camped around the gold4rs selling spot and reported many, I also added them.
They never got banned...

Bit hypocritical to report the source you just bought gold off, isn't it? Fucking stupid actually, since they can also see you as a RWTer if they would do anything.

You should be fine avoiding a ban as long as you don't buy in huge amounts, and you don't try to resell the gp. Remember, Jagex can and will chainban/wipe all your accounts.

 

Jagex has tools they use too trace all of the accounts that are/have been registered to your IP. Kmjt is a smart guy where I learned the basics of VPS'. I would use VPS' if applicable to transfer the gold from the botted account, to a mule, to another mule, than to your main.

Such a lengthy process is recommended for larger transactions of rsgp if you do not want to get banned instantly. Remember your just a small dot on the radar of Jagex. The more times your account receives unusual amounts of rsgp the bigger that dot becomes.

I dont think they ban rwters, just wipe the gp.

 

Bulks buyers are the main targeted and risk of getting their wealth knocked off. However, for most of us who just buy gold for use or in low amounts, the risk of getting banned is extremely slim.

 

Glad you all made this post I've started getting worried even though I have bought gold in the past.

 

I got banned 5 years ago on my pure for buying 1M of a chinese gold site.

 

have bought rs gold for years and years, including over 10 m recently from a "gold farmer" well known site and haven't got banned. knock on wood niggah!

 

Never been banned bought over 600m sold over 2.5bil
