    Looking for a gaming PC

My budget will MAX at £1,200 (roughly $1,875).

I'm 15, and really dislike the idea of building my own computer. I've done some research, but the specs you get from most computers are complete rip offs, and you're paying an awful lot just for the brand (i.e. Alienware)

The Games I'd like to play would be
    Runescape
    WoW
    ACE Online

None of these would be played simultaneously, but I'd like the computer to be able to support all 3 games with relatively decent graphics. Please post any suggestions you may have.

My dad does have experience building computers, but I hardly ever see him, and when I do he probably won't have the time to show me how it's done.

I have a system I'm trying to sell off. Note: It doesn't have a Video Card, CDRom Drive, nor a Hard drive.

    Here's the specs:

    • Motherboard - Asus P7P55D-E Pro
    • CPU - Intel Core i7 875K Quad Core - 2.93 GHZ OC'd to 3.4 or 3.6 (can't remember) W/ Liquid cooling
    • RAM - 4x Crucial 2GB PC3-10600 1333MHZ
    • Sound - Creative Labs X-Fi Fatal1ty Titanium
    • Power Supply - Silverstone 1000W

This comes w/ Windows 7 installation disk, as well as the Factory Image (PC is from Falcon Northwest) along w/ any and all documentation/software.

As previously stated - You'll have to purchase Video Card(s), Optical Drive, and Hard Drive(s) - These were stripped from the system and incorporated into my current build.

If you have any questions, let me know.

That sounds like a good deal N4N0. If you aren't going to build any part of it, you will be ripped off. Major companies know they can get away with it.

Noamyoungerm is right. It's far cheaper to build your own computer. It's actually kind of funny that major computer companies scam millions of people every year, because the people don't know the true value of what they're buying. I've always built my own computers, and always will.

As for your budget, compared to the games you're going to play, that's more than enough if you build your own. Hell, your new computer could run Skyrim on almost full if that budget is spent correctly. My friend had a decent website (In the UK) he was looking at that wasn't too too bad the other day. I'll find out the URL and post it here sometime tomorrow.

Thanks guys, I'll probably just attempt to build my own then. Fingers crossed it works. Is there any way of knowing how to fit hte parts in together?

If you don't know how to build one I would suggest you get a friend who does to do it. It's quite easy to break a part and lose a few hundred pounds worth of PC component(s) in a matter of seconds. But yes, building is always cheaper than buying.

If you're intersted in buying mine by chance, I'll assist you in finding the remaining parts to complete the build.

It's very easy to know if the parts fit together. I would suggest going to somebody like Noodles :) or Ivy Bridge and ask them to build you a build.

Once you get the parts, it's very easy to put together. At first you'll be like What the.. but once you place the motherboard in, you can see exactly where most things go.

Just buy a normal laptop or computer that is good no need to spend £1k+ on a computer or laptop..
