Meh. That's all things that we knew were coming anyways. They always do. and half of them will be failures anyways...

 

I wish that 4g mobile internet would come to the UK sooner before 2013

None of it is even that cool, tbh. I'm set with my techy stuff for now.

 

I think we are at a point where the technology we have is more than sufficient enough to support our everyday needs. Any upgrades on this list, or others that may come in the future, will just come off as another $100+ to spend. For example, is windows 8 really necessary?

And as for the Apple products, I'm sure they will sell well, but that's just due to all apple products now being used to judge your popularity level. Don't have the new iphone? Ew your wierd. Don't have the new ipad? Pssh what a loser. It may not be the biggest reason for sales, but its definitely up there.

I'm perfectly fine with the technology I have now, and I think a lot of people are starting to have the same feeling. For example, the PlayStation Vita, and the 3DS were all launched this year, but with very low hype. In the past people have been excited for almost every major console/handheld release, but now its at the point where we just want quality material for the tech, and not new tech.

 

Well part of that is because it is nothing new and exciting. Windows 8 is very similar to Windows 7. the iPhone 5? The iPad3? I could go on and on. None of those things is the much have item that changed the world like the first of the above things. PCs changed the world. The iPhone changed the world. The iPad changed the world. The Wii changed the world. All those things that we have been told about don't do that and in all honesty if someone is coming out that will be epic, we wouldn't already know about it.

 

Exactly, the only thing we are getting is another price tag with a few updates. I think if developers held off and made more significant updates over a longer period of time, hype would be bigger, and sales would follow. Quality over quantity.

I'm looking forward to getting the new PSP along with the iPhone 5.

 

Right now is kinda the beginning of a quiet period where everybody is just improving specs without any actual improvement. Nothing new is coming out around now, and I doubt anything new will come for the next few years either. In fact, windows 8 seems to be going towards another vista IMO. I don;t like the "Metro" and the transition to "Old Windows" It just doesn't cut it for me...

 

The Nintendo and the Apple iTV should be nice.

 

Nothing that exciting, though, I'd be keen to check out the Vita and the Apple TV.
