Another jagex fail >.>

Apprently when they made the new site they removed the questhelp/spoilers and replaced it with that lame ass runescape wiki, so now i have to sit here for 4 hours trying to get the correct evil dave spices.... why would they remove something that worked so great...

why people play runescape and hate jagex for the stupidest reasons is beyond me... theres a site called google that will help you with your evil dave spices you know?

to all the people above, the spoiler is ACCOUNT specific, as it quest for the evil dave is DIFFERENT per person, so you spend 3 quest tokens to unlock it for YOUR account, no quest guide can do this..

edit- this was a feature that only runescape.com could do, as it needed your account info.

For Evil Dave you just use one dose of the same color on the stew and then ask Dave if it's correct, if he says "no" just keep adding doses until he says it's correct. After that do it for the next color.

^ i know how to do that, but how the old way worked it cut the time in half by about 95%

I never knew they had that, you posted it when I was still typing :/ I guess that would of been only useful for a few quests because most of them don't vary.

 

yea, which i guess no one in this thread knew about this tool, instead of spending 3 hours on stews, you knew the EXACT spices you needed, so you din't even need to trial and error. which is why i'm mad now i have to spend 2 extra hours for what used to take 30 mins tops.

none of the guide sites will work for this, as it varies per account, and there is like over 46 diff options.

 

The wiki jagex made is really pathetic

Yeah, I don't think people really understand what you are talking about. >_<

I never, ever used the old Runescape quest guides, as there are MUCH better guides out there on fan sites. But during the Evil Dave quest, instead of trying a million different spice combinations and hoping you get lucky, if you have enough "quest help" points or w/e saved up, you could spend them on the Jagex Quest Help page and get the exact spice combination that was specific to your account. What Delta Squad is complaining about, is that this was a fantastic and extremely helpful feature that was included on the site, that is now destroyed because of another pointless & stupid decision by Jagex.

 

I agree with you it shouldn't be removed until their wiki is as good or better.
