Favorite Runescape year?

Below write what your favorite Runescape year was and why.

Mine was 2007; I was a couple months into the game and learnt the basics, every level I gained felt great and in that year I finally could afford full adamant only to have it scammed.

TBH, this year. No more bots, great updates etc.

 

My favourite years were 2005 and 2006, when I didn't know a lot about the game and I found it exciting visiting Yanille to go to the Wizard Guild and buy my first set of Mystic robes ^_^

 

Yes, but this year this game has become increasingly more revolved around money.

 

2007, back when GP was around $4-5/M and when you had 100M you were considered "rich"

 

2005, I had great times back then. I was relatively new to the game and I had a lot of fun pking with my team of people who I also knew irl. Everything seemed more awesome as well.

Easily 2005, when i started, h'weens were like 9m-13m and I got happy when i got given a free mithril dagger

I would say 2006. When I earned by myself my first 30M. Went to Falador world 2 and spent all in ranger set, dark bow, etc.

And the unforgettable event veterans call "Falador Massacre".

This year was actually pretty great. Despite what the kids who follow everyone and say that 2007 was.

 

Either this year, or 2005/6 the events were so much fun with better rewards, the community was great, it wasn't all dice game whores and people thinking pixels in the form of a party hat makes them feel wanted.

 

Either this year, or 2006 when was old school pking.

 

2011, new stuff= better.
