F2p Pking?

I haven't played Runescape in years but I am looking to start up again. I just want to pk on some free servers for now. What are the most common type of pures to create, and what stats do you suggest I begin pking?

probably either rune pures or 1 defence pures

personally i like rune pures or main pking as there is more loot

and probably 40/60 att 70 str 1/40 def

Don't, go with a rune pure, normal pures are stupid, honestly.

 

For better look, go with a rune pure. Don't see the point of pking if the loot ain't good

 

1 def pures are alot more fun.

Rune Pures in f2p. they will just tele 9/10 times

 

1 def pures in f2p are the most fun.
Rune pures will just run/tele because basicly the rune set is their entire bank..

 

I'm currently training a f2p raneg tank - stats I'm aiming for 40atk, 60+str 40def 60+range. I'm hoping to get soem good pking on this as most of my previous pkers i got bored training and tried to pk at low levels (which sucks). It would be cool to have a training partner etc. But alot of people use the common range/2h which is 40atk, 60+str 60+range 1 def.

 

If you create a pure that looks like this:

40 Attack
70 Strength
1 Defence
70 Ranged

.. it will take you a few days to a week to complete, and is a good starting place for a low levelled F2P pure. They are loads of fun to PK on, and you can adjust the stats as you please if you want to be higher levelled/more risk. I've got a 40/70/1 PK account that is loads of fun to PK with on F2P

@Ilikesmoothheads - Sorry, I don't actually plan on training this account. I am having others do the work for me. I don't have time to play as much as I would like.

 

Great choice man. These accounts are alot of fun, low risk (so good to learn how to PK & get a feel for it), and easy to fund. Practice your combos too... either scimmy to r2h, or ranged to r2h combo for the KO. You will be a pro in no time

 

45atk,75strn,85range, and g2h = ownage

 

The ideal f2p pure for me is this:

40 attack
70 strength
1 defense
75 range
whatever hp it brings you to.

Just range them until they are low hit-points then switch to a 2h sword for the KO.

If you are too lazy for that just make a low level pure mage and try to kill some people ;P

Anybody know what the most common gear is for a 40/1/70 pure? As I have said I haven't played much. I want to be able to purchase everything ASAP and start pking.

Is the grand exchange the place to buy everything now? I remember the good ol' days when you stood around typing again and again for what you wanted. Jagex really solved that problem.

 

Yes, your best bet is to buy everything at the Grand Exchange. I'm not much of a pure person so I can't answer your gear question.

 

I went f2p pking after 2 years of never being in f2p and i must say i had lots of fun, and i even just used up my left over tokens to buy a f2p rapier .For F2p pking it's all about maximizing the damage you can deal, so your going to want to train strength, not attack. Usually you'd want to have your cmb lvl as low as possible so you can fight easier opponents, but it's a little late for that. Armour wise, the best you can have F2P is either full rune or corrupt armour (although corrupt armour can be quite expensive for those on a tight budget).
