1.0 - Introductions of Trading / Market
Here's basic introduction of the Market on Sythe.org. Basically, there is a lot of branches to trading in this site. From RuneScape, WoW, XBOX
Steam, Non-Virtual Items , eBooks / Guides and much more. When you're new, it's really tempting to go around and check the forums, yes I agree. But maybe
you could introduce yourself first and get to know the community, vice-versa. With that, you'll have a boost in sales just like maybe 0.5% as you've
introduced yourself. Also you are only allowed to bump your thread once per 24 HOUR. You'll get infracted if you bump frequently, multiple infractions may lead to a ban.

1.1 - Basic of Trading / Rules
Screenshots: It'll be better if you can provide screenshots in some gaming market section. For example, Steam sales. It is mandatory to have a screenshot when you have
the thought of selling an account there. Yes, I agree some screenshots are taken from other sites / edited. But most of the time you can trust them, if you don't that's when
OMM / MM comes in. I'll explain more about those later on.

Contact Info: Maybe you could include this when you are selling / buying so that people can contact you easier. But beware of those imposters or scammers. If you don't
feel comfortable letting your contact info out, you free to ask them to PM you or you can PM them if you agree to trade.

Request for a PM: With this, you can confirm if it's an imposter or not. Also if it's the real one, this may help in-case he chargebacks you can use this proof to report that he is the right person.
How to use the PM if you are wondering ? Click on the person's name then it will popup that box , click on Send Private Message. Then include Subject and the Message and then click Send.



During the trade: It's encouraged to record your trade. Be it, from screenshots to videos. With this, the person can't run away from proofs that he scammed or whatsoever.

1.2 - Official Middlemen [OMM] / Middlemen [MM]
Official Middlemen [OMM] -- Who are they ? What do they do ? - http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=778174
Who are they ? - They are Trusted Official Middlemen of Sythe.org that help the community to keep a safe-trading environment.
They need to go through an intense application before getting picked / chosen by the Staffs. With this, I can 99.9% say that you can trust them.

What do they do ? - They are the ones who will be a "middleman" in the trade. I'll give you an example. If you are selling RuneScape Gold, you(seller) pass the Gold to the Middleman and he'll
hold your gold until you have received payment via any method you agreed on from your buyer. They might ask for a screenshot just for confirmation, no harm giving it to them. Once it's confirmed,
that you have received the payment, the Middleman will pass on the Gold to the buyer.

Middlemen[MM] -- Who are they ? What do they do ?
Who are they ? - They are Normal Middlemen. You can choose to trust them or not. They are not Official Middlemen of Sythe.org. Anyone can be a Middlemen. You can be a Middlemen when you
have no vouches and so on, there are no restrictions.

What do they do ? - Their work is the same as OMM. They are still to middleman a trade.

1.3 - Vouches
You gain vouches / reputation when you've done a trade or you middleman a trade. Example of vouches is "Vouch, sold him 50M. He went first. Thanks" , "Vouch, I went first and he delivered the gold right after I paid."

1.4 - Staff Ranks / Donation Ranks:
Staff Ranks:
- Administrator // You can trust them or should I say, you must trust them. They are hand-picked by Sythe himself.
- Global Moderator // They moderate the forum hence the name, Global. You can trust them too. Hand-picked too / voted.

/ - $5.00 Donator - They donated $5.00 to support Sythe.org.
/ - $25.00 Donator - They donated $25.00 to support Sythe.org.
/ - $50.00 Donator - They donated $50.00 to support Sythe.org.
/ - $100.00 Donator - They donated $100.00 to support Sythe.org.
/ - $200.00 Donator - They donated $200.00 to support Sythe.org.
- $300.00 Donator - They donated $300.00 to support Sythe.org.

1.5 - Scammers / Imposters / Fake Vouching
Scammers - Beware of scammers. They just ruin your day up.
Some tips that can give yourself a hint someone is a scammer are:
// He disagrees to use a Middleman / Official Middleman.
// He has 0 vouches and you have 10-20 vouches, and he expects you to go first.
// Offering high prices when they can get it at a low price. [ Chargeback ]
// Teamviewer Scams - They have some script that could control your computer even when you lock the remote access.
So beware. I recommend not to use Teamviewer at all. You can request them for screenshots, if they disagree and still
insists on using Teamviewer, ignore them. You'll not lose sales if you ignore 1 scammer. Do not be greedy.

Imposters - This could also ruin your day if you're not careful. Here's an example.


From here, you could see that the Real King Tijn 2's MSN is [email protected] not [email protected]
Becareful, of those punctuation, symbols and so on that could make you go confuse or worst still, make you believe they are the real ones.

Fake Vouching - Fake vouching. It's common in Sythe.org. Quite a bunch of people got banned because of this.
Here'a s real vouch.

Do you see the blue arrow that is pointing beside the Poster's name ? Click that to see where it links to and check if it's really a real vouch.
They could change anything within that quoted vouch.

Here's an example of mine that could be edited easily.


Initially, it was a 5 digit that I sold him. Now it's edited to 4 digit. So becareful.

1.6 - How to report if you get scammed
Sythe.org have made a section to report scammers there. Use that section. Do not flame them in a sale thread or so. If you have proof, post in the right section.

@symphony: the gfx mod ui was also updated a while ago (check mine). Just a bit of nitpicking, but nice writeup there mate.
