Debate - Refusal of OMM

Hey guys, lately I've been seeing many members (the overwhelming majority of them being newcomers) refusing to use an OMM even if the other party offers to pay for him. I feel like there needs to be a set rule that OMMs cannot be refused to trade on sythe. I understand that there are those who don't feel comfortable using OMMs but with 99% of those who refuse OMMs being eventual scammers, I think this may be worth looking into. Share your ideas guys.

 

I agree...But, I feel like it would be more work put on the OMM's to have to deal with this... I also believe it is just common sense to NOT use someone who will not use an OMM/MM. Obv scammer.

 

There will never be a rule stating that a user cannot refuse using an OMM for his trade.

The trader has the right to trade with who he wants.

Newcomers nearly always deny an OMM , there not always trying to scam in this case , But as someone new to sythe im sure they wouldnt be so comfortable handing x amount of gold / items .. Because they don't really know how sythe works when they get strait off the boat.

 

I would never use a powerbot official middleman (or verified middleman there). Might make me seem sketchy over there but I don't use their community much so I don't trust anyone there.
