I absolutely support this being a sticky. I read through all of it and I would be confident to winning a dispute using this method.

100% support on sticky. Good luck.

People need to be aware of a few things. A note does absolutely nothing. If someone claims it was an unauthorized transaction, it goes along the storyline that the unauthorized sender could have written a false note. Another thing you need to know is PayPal does not condone virtual item sales, so claiming a virtual sale in your note isn't a good idea.

Never accept payments as a gift because eventually PayPal will shut down your account for avoiding their fees. Pay the service/goods fee to keep them happy and they won't constantly limit/freeze your account. My new account hasn't had any problems in the past 8 months ever since I stopped accepting personal payments.

Even if you win a dispute you can potentially harm your GP business. Too many disputes lead to a frozen/limited PP account, and if you don't have a functioning PP account how are you going to use PA?

You speak SOME truth. only SOME.

I agree with the part about receiving gifts. That is true.

Well, thats why my guide also teaches you how to minimize the chances of a chargeback by trading with discretion. You might have missed out on that part (a very important part which is fundamental basics)

And yes, a note does not matter in unauthorized transaction claims but it definitely helps in a non-receipt claim as as soon as PP sees that it is for virtual item, they close the dispute.

Why? Because other party claims non-receipt and hence implying they definitely authorized it. And part of the policy, virtual items are not covered and hence, an immediate win.

Thanks for the feedback though :)

I like the guide but ensure there are gaps between headings and the texts, I also suggest a different style in text since that is really bad on the eyes.

A note doesn't help speed up closing a Non Receipt dispute.

The note does nothing, I have never had the buyer attach a note, and I have won 100% of my non-receipt disputes, within 10 minutes of seeing them.

I'm not sure if the email thing is correct either, but I have other ways of avoiding disputes.
