Jagex fixing stakes?

I think Stakes are rigged in General.. I was up nearly 100m from 20m...now I'm down nearly 200m+

Jagex has not fixed it, your just bad at staking.

Yep they are cracking down on the gp trade from the looks of it. I bought 30m GP an with that gold plus the gold i had I bought like 100k nature runes and 100k stuff to alch. I was autoclick high alching (yes, highly detectable I know, but I was babysitting it).

Anyway point is after 4 days of autoalching and reaching around 85 mage I lost all my money (around 15m), all the runes I bought using the purchased gold, all the armor and supplies bought with that 30m.

At first I attributed it dying to a random event (mind you I haven't played in ahwile so I don't even know if aggressive randoms still exist...) but... the money was in my coin purse and your not supposed to lose that when you die

Upon further investigation I thought I was hacked. I lost stuff in my bank too.

Upon even further investigation I think Jagex cleared my GP and my bank because they know I bought it on PA. Do you know if this is a common occurrence?

Armada, I wasn't staking for the trade if your talking to me. It was a normal trade for 30m.

Bad luck, nothing more, nothing less. 6-7 loss streaks aren't uncommon in boxing.

 

Bought 100m, I've lost about 10 stakes in a row

These fights are 110% rigged, everyone I'm fighting is having huge comebacks, any time I hit over 80, they hit 100+. I am in my longest losing streak in the history my runescape career, I've been playing Runescape 6 years and I'm on a 13 game losing streak... It's not bad luck its rigged...to test it I fought a level 130 with 89 defense he destroyed me ... I'm 99 everything! One person had the biggest comeback ever against me. I had about 500 hp they had probably 150 and they won!

 

Hah, because Jagex is going to take the time to rig stakes against you. Wow, people aren't very smart anymore.

 

I doubt they put that much effort in to rigging 20-100m stakes. I believe certain people just have good and bad luck at duel arena. I seem to have the bad luck, ive haven't won a single stake in the past 4 days of staking and im maxed combat.

 

They're not taking the time out of the day to code an auto-loose for those buying gold, if you're loosing stakes its simply because you're not a very good staker. Argue and say you're the best staker in Runescape but you're not. Don't believe me?

Buy the gold, cycle it through the Grand Exchange, or other Runescape players. Buy and sell items then use that money to stake and you'll still loose. Jagex didn't "fix" staking, you're simply buying gold and loosing it because you werent making it via winning to begin with.

You guys are out of your minds with these speculations.

Rigging stakes makes NO sense. All it can achieve for Jagex is either 1) The buyer/staker quits RS and doesn't pay membership anymore or 2) The buyer/staker buys more GP to cover losses, which I thought is what Jagex doesn't want?

 

'Apparently' there are methods which increase your chances of winning a stake, although I personally think they are all a scam. I only ever used to stake if I knew the advantage was in my favour. Eg. 50 range 90 hp, versing 70 range 65 hp, both using rune knifes he only hits 20 more than me. Easy win.

 

I was doing that before Free Trade removal and the first months after the return of staking. But since there is almost nobody to stake at those levels anymore I switching to maxed staking. There are still methods and rules that allow for 65% win chance, more if you are really good/lucky.

 

Are there really that many methods that give you the advantage in max boxing? Only thing i can think of is style switching and that doesn't work for me one bit. I haven't even been able to get opponents past half health these past 4 days.
