Personally, I record with Camtasia and I think it's the best.

 

Fraps.

 

I have the best luck with Camtasia.

Everything about it runs smooth. I've brought product keys for multiple others and had multiple issues with them.

You can get a cracked copy of the full version of fraps.

Make sure you dont install fraps onto the drive your internet browser is on or your rs client if your recording rs. If both are running on the same drive, your comp will start lagging.

So I suggest if you;re recording RS gameplay while you play on firefox, keep firefox in c drive, but install fraps to d drive or e drive.

 

My computer is already slow as it is :/

Plus, what level of detail do you play RS on?

 

Camtasia is a classic! I haven't used it forever though (since like 2005), but I am definitely going to get it again in the near future as it worked great for me back then.

 

Camtasia is my preferred as well. I've also heard of some people on Sythe using http://www.screencast-o-matic.com/ and being very happy with it.

 

Camtasia is the best, not only because it is good recording but the Camtasia Studio is user friendly and well designed.

 

Camtasia is the best quality in my opinion. I tried Fraps out and never really understood how to use it.
