[WHAT DO YOU THINK?]New way of gambling in runescape?

well, there is a new way of gambling in rs that people are spreading around, it involes the burthorpe games room playing rune link. do you think this will work? or will jagex find a way to stop this like dicing? discuss, also the games room is FULL of people at this moment with people trying to host for this.

They will continue to let it run for a few months then will most likely shut it down like Dicing.

But, we will see. Time will tell.

 

Jagex will shut it down.. just like everything else thats exciting

 

Rune link has been around forever I'm pretty sure... I remember reading a thread here on Sythe somewhere, of a person organzing rune link games for large stakes (20-1000M) where an OMM holds the cash until the game is complete and the winner takes all.

If it becomes extremely popular like dicing did, I have no doubt that Jagex will shut it down.

 

It's pretty popular atm it goes on in world 45 and at games room. Check out the runelynk FC there's been 100m wagers for 200m pots, hosts take 10% run by cls product and mx799 hosts are trusted... check it out
I'm a host and as far as I know Runelynk is the only legit FC out there, vid your bets, if there is a problem CLS and MX799 or other hosts will refund.

Yea well if you join the FC right now you'll see CLS product doing drop parties, I'm off as I just finished hosting for 7 hours...

 

I think IRC dicing is more convenient. However, I could see this becoming decently big.

 

Yeah I've done it. It's all skill and no luck. if your good at connect 4 then you can win cash easily. The problem is there is SOOO many people there it is impossible to find a host.

 

dicing was minly to scam like this crappy horse game any of these are mainly scams

 

IRC dicing is the don, anyone else who gambles different is wrong XD

 

They only shut dicing down because of all the scams, if people don't scam then it won't be shut down.

 

Haha ask me to host for you next time, like tomorrow if you can get on during 4-9PM est time There's always at least 4 high wager hosts on and 1 low wager host on though.

I can't help but laugh at all the kids "horsing" at the GE right now :laugh: It just doesn't have the same ring to it that dicing did.

 

Any gambling in-game will be shut down, it's bad p.r and Jagex won't support it.

 

Yeah I find this is happening a lot.

 

I think that Dicing was Dicing and it will be hard to replace it
