Kind of worrying this could get really ugly if his successor is power hungry, it could also change nothing, or they could change for the better. I doubt anyone really knows.

 

You all act as if he was some bad bad man when he wasn't you just don't understand how his country is run. Most of the people who live there are happy with what they have. They run there country with the thought of keeping it alive unlike most countries such as the us which spends way more than it can afford to and look where it has gotten all of us.

Every country has the exact problems you can post about NK, I find it moronic that you instantly call him evil etc. People like this tend to annoy me because you believe the first thing you hear then instantly jump on the band wagon. Such as with iraq and Saddam this leads to 1000's of unwarranted deaths and needless violence and will eventually be what ends our existence.

 

Since when was all of the countries in the world Communist dictatorships with oppressive regimes? Must have been that nap I took earlier.

Saddam also killed thousands of Kurds because he was trying to ethnically cleanse the region that the Kurds wanted to be Kurdistan using mustard gas(Against the Geneva Code). But they're just trying to survive. I am fairly certain most countries with a nuclear program doesn't have the same problems as the countries you referenced.

Sadly nothing will change. If you ask north koreans of there happy they will say yes. There really not. Just afraid if they speak out they will get killed. North korea has a labour camp in sibieria. Most people there think they are still in north korea. Obviously brain washed.
