My Next Sig

I've missed last month, but I'm hoping to get this done by January
Here's what I got so far:

I'm planning on texturing it as soon as I get a good texture.

Text is extremely plain, but will get a texture as you mentioned above.
The lines look extremely dull tho, do something to those, too..
Overall it doesn't really appeal to me, try to find a good texture so I can give you some actual tips on the colouring and such.

 

Thanks For the feedback so far. Maybe you have a texture you're willing to give me? I've been looking everywhere for a texture along the lines of marble or something.

Found a good texture on deviant art in the end.
I just kinda overlayed it in PS to get the effect I wanted

I forgot to brush it out around the edges... Do that next update

 

How do you get links to show up in your siggy under the actual pic ?

Moved to GFX showcase (WIP/criqitue threads like this should be in showcase, not help unless you are asking something specific).

But as far as the signature goes, I'd like to see some different type of effects. Maybe some C4Ds or lens flares could help?

 

The shine in the middle is a heavily PS'ed lens flare, but I might go for some more C4d effects in the background.

I like the second one more. But I still don't like the black background. Your current sig I like a lot more for the different levels of complexity in the foreground and background and the more subtle colouring. Navy blue/black/white never really look good together, so maybe change up the colours?

 

Change to what? Most of the other colors I get would end up looking horribly ugly in combination with the rest of the sig.

 

I would have used warmer colours like orange or purple, instead of the dark blue. Also try adding some flame or other type of textures as a clipping mask over the text, as it is really bland.

 

Meh. Didn't come out too good. I'm gonna stick with those colors. Any other suggestions?

TBH, i dont like it realy ;o dont like the colors the lines etc. its to much in my eyes
