where to buy video game screwdrivers or bits?

would they have w.e Im looking for at
gilroys?
homedepot?

I looked online but id rather go in person and make sure they work. I would bring a n64 screw and a game to make sure they fit.

I did the hack where you melt a empty pen case to form around the n64 console screws and got into it fine. however there to thick to open the games and ill be doing this frequently so I figure its worth buying.

I need to open.
n64 console and games
super nintendo console and games
wii and ds so I need tri wing screws.

anybody know a good online kit that actually works and has all the bits for basicly any console?

all the reviews for single bits and screwdrivers I saw all had 1 stars saying the bits striped and broke.

 

I bought mine off ebay the even have little tools to open psp's and controllers without scratching or denting them :]

 

Can you link me to the kit you bought off ebay? Id love to buy a kit that I know isnt shitty then lol.

 

eBay do really cheap tri-wing screwdrivers.
I doubt highstreet shops will sell them. I had to buy mine off eBay.

I would definitely go with ebay, more convenient and you can easily search for the right sizes.

Ima go to the hardware store and hobby shop tomorow. Ill post back and tell if it really is easier to go with ebay. find out soon.
