Machida did outstrike Jones, but Jones didnt use his strength yet, his wrestling. in the 2n rd when he did, Machida was in heaps of trouble. In a straight up striking match i think theres alot of people who could beat Jones.

The only person who might be able to take on Jones is another freak, Phil Davis who has a 79 inch reach which is only 4 less than Jone's, however thats if he could get his godawful striking better, if not Jone is gonna be dominant for a looong time. Jones could easily take down Dan Henderson and Dan's night is going to be short, knowing his cardio issues.

 

Jones is 84.5, so 5.5 inch disadvantage.
I don't know who will beat him, but I think Davis, Evans and Henderson all have a shot, albeit a small one.

I dunno about Henderson, his TTD is pretty weak. Evans and Davis maybe, Henderson Jone is gonna run circles around him.

 

TBH I haven't really observed his wrestling skill, I've just went along with the commentary. He's competed in the Olympics for Greco-Roman wrestling twice plus won high school and collegiate state championships IIRC.

 

He is a better wrestler than Jones, he just gasses . He as an atomic bomb for a right hand as well.

I love watching UFC. Me and my mates get together once in a while to have a few fights the same way it is in UFC. Always good fun especially since everybody has to pay to fight and winner gets all the money, so there is something to motivate us to win .

 

I don't believe Phil Davis is the only one who can beat Jones. I do actually believe Rashad Evans can beat him.

 

Im predicting Lesnar via vicious GnP, Overeem gassed within a round vs Werdum. Im sorry but hes fought nothing but cans for his win streak. All he has is his K-1 championship going for him, and from what i heard he didnt even get paid for it yet lol.

Rashad's too chinny for me, he has poor striking defense. ALl he has going for him is his explosive double leg.

He could still fight some mid-tier HWs, im sure of it. If Ben Rothwells in the UFC so can Fedor, only problem is that crappy m-1 shit. Fedor got offered a 3-fight 250K contract and said no to the UFC after the Hendo loss.
