Nyquil pills?

It says right on the lable that dextromethorphan is the only active ingredient in the cough gels. So they are fairly safe to take. Coricidin is actually one of the WORST brands of cough syrups to drink, as it contains chlorpheniramine meleate aswell as DXM.

Just google "coricidin" for info if you are skeptical. Here is a quote from a drugs forum that I frequent:

And even though it's the only "active" ingredient, that doesn't make it the only ingredient. Gel capsules are covered in acetaminophen, I'm tellin' ya.

And you'd overdose on pills before you would on a liquid.

 

They are 15mgs each but you are popping them as pills... of course I would rather take those instead of drinking a bottle of liquidy syrup. If shitting your pants is your preference, then to each his own.

My point was that Robotussin cough gels are a much better choice than some of the shit you are suggesting, as DXM is the only "active" ingredient in the pills. You directly mentioned Coricidin Cold & Cough, which has a very dangerous active ingredident in its contents, and I have provided a link with direct proof that it is dangerous and should be avoided. Remember that this is the OP who is asking for advice on this drug here, and he should be educated properly so that he doesn't read the brand "Coricidin" and then run down to the local pharmacy and grab a bottle.

Also, to say that you would overdose on 15mg pills of DXM before you overdosed chugging a bottle of liquid, is a bit absurd. The liquid is much harder to measure unless your drinking the entire bottle, and if you are simply just drinking 2 large bottles like you suggested, the risk of an overdose is going to be much higher. Atleast with the 15mg cough gels you can calculate your dose beforehand in order to reach your desired plateau of the DXM high, and it would be much physically harder to match the dose of 2 bottles by popping 80 seperate cough gels.

 

I'm anti-drugs, but everyone here who takes dugs seem's to be careful i.e. I read someone say write on your hand what you took incase, and someone else said read the labels incase. If you are set on taking drugs, which I wouldn't do if I were you, take advice from this. Could save you're life.

 

Don't do nyquil if it has anything but DXM (Dextromethorphan). Otherwise you can get liver/kidney failure or something, or literally puke your guts out. If all else fails, do an extraction.

DXM itself is a Dissociative, which is like PCP, or Ketamine, or huffing gas. It like, seperates you from your body, very hard to explain. It's like a drunk/high feeling psychedelic to describe it best.

DONT do coricdin cough and cold either. I've done it the majority of times I've tripped but learned a year ago. The other stuff in it can kill you, or do anything from blind you, to making you bleed out your eyes/skin. It's lethal, and i've gotten lucky. Again, do extraction or find gel caps with only DXM in them.

I've had the best times of my life on DXM, but it takes a toll on your body though... I've done it over 100 times and it's lost it's magic for me so I no longer do it.

Although I do trip on LSD & research chemicals like 2-ce rarely, when I get the chance

How much you weigh? Average good dose would be like 300 mg for first time to make sure you don't have an enzyme that makes it last for days or something. If you are fine after that, then just go from there. I'd suggest reading up on the plateaus (levels of high you get, theres 4 being the highest), and the dosage needed.

Go to a site like Erowid.com and go to the DXM section, and read about the different "plateaus" of each high.

The DXM high is very unique in the way the dosage of DXM you ingest greatly affects what type of high you will achieve. Each plateau is very different than the one proceeding it, with the effects generally getting more & more intense as you go on.

I would highly reccomend reading about the different plateau's and trying to decide how high you would like to get on your first experience, and then calculate your dose accordingly.

Just remember the MOST IMPORTANT thing when it comes to using drugs.. you can ALWAYS get higher by increasing your dose during a trip, but you can NEVER undo how high you already are. It is much better to do less and have to dose up, than to do too much and either overdose or have an extremely uncomfortable experience.

DXM is not so bad, you just have to be very careful.

The key to using any type of drugs is to be as educated as possible. The world is drugs is very dangerous, and if you go in without any knowledge about what you are putting in your body then you are just asking for something bad to happen.

You should check out that site Erowid in the future if you have any more questions about ANY drugs, its got all sorts of information, pages and pages of it, including trip reports written by the users themselves. It's one of my all time favourite sites and it helps me loads during my teen years

There are calculators online that determine how much to drink/weight for desired effects. There are 4 stages, ranging from feeling drunk, to an LSD like trip.

The dosage should be directly on the bottle. The Robotussing Cough Gels that I suggested are 15mg each and it says so right on the bottle. There are other brands aswell, and some gels that go up to 30mg each if I remember correctly, but I've found Robotussin is usually the easiest to find & the safest.

If for SOME REASON you cannot find the dosage/instructions on the bottle itself, DO NOT pop them without first consulting the internet and looking up an official listing of the medication.

If you were talking about the fact that Erowid did not list the dosage, it is likely because there are so many different products that contain DXM that that page I linked you too online provides "general" information. If you want more specific details about a certain brand, you'd have to do further research on the site in the DXM section, or search around on your own.

 

Simply put: don't bother with stupid dissociatives like DXM and try out real psychedelics like shrooms, LSD, 2ce, etc. DXM will just make you "feel" like you're tripping, but in reality you're just too messed up to know what's going on (the feeling doesn't last, btw, you're going to eventually go higher dose etc) DXM is basically a pussy version of most real psychedelics.

 

Id say you need atleast 10-15 for a ncie trip

 

Actually I've had DXM trips that were harder than LSD (I've done LSD three times). I looove psychedelics, but dissociatives seem to be my cup of tea. I just love the feeling and intensity. Both are equal in terms of where i rank them. I've only got to do shrooms once though, and only half an eighth =/ I'm sure LSD and shrooms would be a lot more stronger than DXM if I upped the dosage/hits, but either way, I still like DXM.

Trying to stay away from DXM though... Done it for too long now, but now a days it's only occasionally, like once every two months. Also lsd and shrooms are hard to find around here.

 

If you think dissociatives are stupid, then you have obviously never done Ketamine. All the most intense and crazy psychedelic trips I have had in my entire life have been on ketamine, besides one time when I was hospitalized during an acid trip because I was so far gone :nuts:

 

Dissociatives and psychedelics are completely different. It makes no sense to compare the two.

Man I love Ketamine. Nothing goes better with psychedelics. Have you ever mixed K and opiates?
