Watch the throne

Am I the only one here that listens to most mainstream rap and doesn't like the Jay Z and Kanye combo? I honestly think they suck and dislike all of their songs.

What do you guys think?

 

Huh? It was a fucking solid rap album, don't really get where you're coming from.

 

No replay value in my opinion. Just a whole album of them bragging how rich they are. I like both artists back in their primes, and the collab album was a good idea, but i'd consider this a mixtape more than an album--theres just no substance...

It's what you have to expect from the mainstream, though... It's still > the carter 4... c4 was a big let down.

This new "rap" sucks so hard. I usually just listen to old songs, they're better than any other future songs will be.

 

It was mediocre. Relatively good compared to the other things on the chart at that time. Jay Z sounded redundant to me.

 

I only like a couple of their songs from that album. A whole collaboration album wasn't the best idea for them.

 

Honestly I love WTT. Just when Kanye comes in after JayZ or vice versa sounds so perfect in my mind -- and I frankly hate JayZ lol.

 

Completely agree with this. I think the two were fine on their own.

 

I havent actually got the album yet.. lol i dunno why, i guess ive just been caught up with other artists lately. Ive heard of Otis And N*ggas in Paris so far which were alright.

 

All in all a pretty decent album in my opinion.
