Is this a Philshing site?

It says "no [email protected]" so its runescape, or its fake?

 

Since its @runescape.com it makes me think it might be them. They say they never email you asking for your password but it seems as though they dind't ask for it. I wouldn't use the link they provided even though everything seems to check out. It could be cloaked or something. You never know in todays fast paced world lol.

 

Email spoof. Jagex never sends emails for crap like this. Jagex sends emails for password changes, account recovering, loyalty rewards, and maybe like a game update or two

 

it's fake. Email spoofing allows people to send with any email adress they want.

 

If there is nothing similar in your inbox on the Runescape site, then it's a fake, clear and simple.

 

I never bother with jagex email unless I'm expecting one for example your recovering a account, changing a email ect.

OT: Remember, Jagex will never email you about any warnings, bans, mutes or loyalty program promotions.

And a simple method to check whether it is legit or not is by hovering your cursor over the link in the email and by checking the bottom left of your browser for any hidden links associated.

Other then that I think the Microsoft SmartScreen already provided you with the answer.

 

Like everyone else has said, this is a common phish attempt.

 

I get them all the time, and for about a year now. I don't even bother looking at them. It's a phisher site.

Just put your mouse over the link and look in the bottom left of your browser, you'll see that it's a fake.
