Ron Paul is the FAVORITE in Iowa

Intrade is known for it's deadly accuracy and has recently put Ron Paul as the favorite for Iowa. That's right, Ron Paul is the MOST likely candidate to win the Iowa 2012 Republican Caucus.

A short explanation from Intrade's site in case anyone is unfamiliar with what it is:

yeup it was on yesterday they say it might be mit romney and ronpaul or grinich or what ever his name is might stay it the race but its going to be those 3

Regardless, I highly doubt he would be able to win the general election just due to his radical positions.

 

Even if he does end up representing the Republican party (which he won't), Obama is going to be re-elected.

Paul has nothing more than a small cult-like following.

The right-side is too divided over pointless issues and scandals.

 

He really would not have much more influence over that than he does now since the President does not enact laws.

 

I just want him to make somewhat of an impact. He obviously wont make it "too" far.

He's too radical to win the GOP nominee. He's actually somewhat reasonable on many things, which is out of the question to all politicians.

 

I'm curious to see how many followers he gets. Imo, the more he gets, the larger amount of the US is "uncertain" of the candidates.

Ron Paul actually has some good ideas about Obamacare and such. I think Herman Cain would have been his biggest opponent until the moment when Herman Cain made a pokemon reference in his speach.
