2 questions

1. I am always thinking of ideas for new businesses and recently I came up with an idea for a simple idea that involves selling clothing. It would obviously start out online, but is anyone experienced with that kind of business? If so what kind of starting cash would I need, and what other resources would I need to get it going?

2. What are some other plausible investment ideas for a 16 year old? It would mostly be funded by a minimum wage part time job. Also, I am not looking for anything runescape related, or drug related (yes im talking to you giddy...).

You can try to merchant something. for example: Buy something on stock for like 400 Dollars and sell them for approx 500-600 dollars

 

You could run guns for the mexican drug cartels, they love 16 year olds because they're fast and can jump and swim.

On a lighter note: What kind of clothing are you wanting to sell? T-shirt deigning and selling is a hard business unless you have some pretty good connections already. I have tried.

 

I was watching an episode of the Gadget Show (if you've heard of it) and Ortis Deley, a presenter on it, tried selling some shirts he had made and he found it difficult. However if you are into fashion you could make seasonal funny shirts for things like christmas and easter etc. and put a little joke like a pun or something

I do a smiliar thing but instead of selling clothes i sell textiles such as bed linen, curtains, novelty stuff etc big money in textiles. I created my own site and sell on eBay.
