Banned display name xfer?

Sorry, I already posted this in the Marketplace Discussion subforum but now realize it was probably the wrong place. My question is, can I change the display name of a permanently banned account? (In order to transfer it to a level 3)

Yes, I assume this will work as there's no indication otherwise but Jagex have ripped me off with this sort of thing before, so I wanted to confirm.

 

I would wait until all of your appeals are up, then take a shot in the dark.

I suggest finding old usernames, those are usually free unless they have been taken already. It's a good alternate.
