Spoiler: How to Play

Go to Battleship (free online game for two players)
Select "Friend" for Opponent.
Select "Classic" for Fleet Type.
Send the game link to your opponent.
Make sure the link ends in /classic.
Play the match and keep proof of victory.
Post the result in the tournament thread.

Please use the following format when posting your result:

Winner: Jibb
Loser: Sin

Spoiler: Format

The tournament will be a single-elimination bracket.

Once the brackets are posted, players will compete head-to-head. Lose a match and you are eliminated from the main tournament. Win and you advance to the next round.

The tournament will progress through the appropriate rounds based on the number of participants, ultimately leading to the championship match.

If the number of participants does not fit a standard bracket, randomly assigned byes will be used to fill the bracket. Byes will not be awarded based on ranking, registration order, or any other player preference.

All participants that complete all of their assigned matches will receive the minirank.

Top three will receive the minirank for taking part in the tournament.

All matches must be played on the website listed above.

Players must use the "Friend" game mode and the "Classic" fleet.

The winning player must keep proof of victory.

Results must be posted in the tournament thread.

Players are expected to make a genuine effort to win every match.

Deliberately losing, colluding, or manipulating match results may result in disqualification from the tournament and/or prizes.

If a game disconnects or otherwise fails before completion, the players should restart the match.

If there is a dispute, players should provide screenshots or other available evidence.

CDT has final say on all tournament disputes and rulings.

Each round will have a deadline for matches to be completed.

Players are responsible for contacting their opponent and arranging their match before the deadline.

If a match is not completed by the deadline, CDT will review the circumstances and determine how the match will be handled.
