    runescape mac help.. please..

    yeah i'm new here.. but i really do need some help..

    i just recently got onto a macbook and can't seem to get runescape to load for me, for those of you who know your Mac's... can you please tell me what it is I need to do to get this working? This is what pops up evertime i try to load runescape...

    Try updating your computer...a new java has come out for mac os x lion, I assume that is what you are using, and it should work.

    how do i update it? i'm not sure exactly what mac i am using other than the OS is a mac 10.5.8 .. i have the current java downloaded and installed, i figured that would be enough.. obviously not?

    runescape mac help.. please..

    that happened to my friend and he just removed java nad reinstalled and it worked, if u were u id do that

    runescape mac help.. please..

    It could just be your browser? I can't play runescape on my safari, but on firefox or chrome it works fine. Try installing a different browser and see how it goes.

    I also use a mac (Snow Leopard 10.6.8), but have not experienced the issues you're having with loading RuneScape. If you haven't tried this already, consider downloading the external client from the RuneScape website, here http://www.runescape.com/g=runescape/downloads.ws and it might work for you. If you don't trust the link, go to the RuneScape homepage, look under the "Media" tab, go to downloads, and download the client for mac.
