Trojan Removed, am I safe to enter passwords?

I was on a bug (glitches) site just looking around because its interesting and my computer crashed twice, the second time my anti-virus said it removed a trojan that affected "system32", am I safe?

If you read this and do not wish to post, please think again and bump, this is urgent.

What anti-virus program do you use?

This is what I would suggest.. First, go HERE and download Malwarebytes. This is one of the best spyware/malware removers and is highly recommended by people here on Sythe. Alot of people here use it, and this is where I found it :) Download the free version and run a full computer scan right away.

Secondly, run another full computer scan with your regular anti-virus software and see if it picks anything up. If you ARE still infected and your anti-virus doesn't detect the infected files, Malwarebytes surely will.

Wait until both scans are complete and if there are any infected files or viruses, get rid of them asap. If the scans both turn up nothing, then you are probably safe to start entering passwords again (logging into Runescape, your bank or PayPal accounts etc.).

My anti-virus is top notch because my mom is friends with a computer guy. Trend Micro Titanium Internet Security. I did run a second scan and the trojan was found and resolved. However, before this second scan I logged into runescape, twitter, Facebook and my school page to check homework.

The first scan said it was okay, so why was it picked up again?

    Btw, thanks for your response.

    Try Malwarebytes like Zerker said.

I also urge you to download Avira AV Premium 30 day trial and use that to scan your computer.

I have a feeling that it still hasnt been properly removed from your computer.

It said I got a trojan on Friday and nothing has happened, so I trust my own anti-virus.

I would highly recommend downloading Malwarebytes anyways and running a scan. The file is fairly small, and the scan doesn't take long at all to complete. It is totally worth it too, Malwarebytes is great at picking up things that somehow seem to fly under the radar of regular virus scanners.

Whenever I get a serious virus, I do not do anything until I have reformatted and installed a new OS. Just to be sure.

You can never be 100% sure. Malwarebytes and then Kaspersky to top it off works for me. Although I don't enter personal information in until I have a new OS installed.

Hmm, it also says the same virus has shown up on 12/2 weird.

And thus, I think I'm fine. Its shown up several time but has always been removed.

    NO! format PC now!
no one knows if that trojan installed other viruses meanwhile, means it probably entered some keyloggers too!
just format the whole thing or use 'on keyboard' or 'facebook plugin login'
