Thoughts? i don't know alot about computers but this looks awesom to me

 

I'm gonna say DO NOT buy the computer as it has an AMD bulldozer. That piece of crap basically has a huge amount of cores but still gets completely outshined by much earlier intel CPU's with half the number of cores.

 

if you want "VERY FAST", AMD is not the way to go. Try setting yourself up with a 2500k build. What's your budget?

 

Not to mention that graphics card is very low end and you wouldn't be able to play much higher than medium settings on newer games. Get at least a 6770 or higher which tend to be under 150$ and will play with reasonably high graphics.

 

Ah, glad i asked here first, they make it sound so appealing when its actually crap? Looking for a build around $800-900 in UK, one capable of maxing out games graphics etc any help?

Everything else is pretty much personal preference. If that's over budget, let me know. I didn't even look anything up but that would be like $550 USD so I figure with all the other parts it would be right around your price range.

 

I'd need a complete build i have no idea what any of those things you said mean.. :s I'd be meerly ordering the parts and having them put together by a computer store here for like $40 (£20?)

 

I don't know where you're getting your prices from, but from my experience in the UK, computer shops tend to charge abysmal prices, you'll probably be looking at at least £50, maybe even 100. I suggest building it yourself, it's really not that hard, just educated yourself in computer hardware a little bit first (read forums such as overclock or something)

 

I'll try, i feel so stupid because i can do almost anything on a computer but i have no idea how it all works or how its put together :/ I still need to work out an amazing build though first

 

Eh, standard build as requested. You can swap out the 6870 for a 6770 if you want to save a bit of money (Like £40-50). I put the parts together on ebuyer.com, probably the best site for PC parts in the UK.

 

Process of elimination basically. There's only one spot for anything, it's like a puzzle. Open up a computer and you'll learn in no time.

 

True, but some guidance from the manuals and other resources online helps. Also, he has to know about stuff like grounding, even though it seems like common sense.
