Thanks for the feedback, and yeah jagex might be able to detect that, but it is kinda illegal if they tried to detect it, since their policies doesn't say that they can access and check our personal computer, even if they detect, it's not a big deal, just say "My PC automatically categorized it as Read-Only or whatever." :*

Yes jagex can surely and easily detect this...When they try to write to that file (to write to a variable that you are logged in for example) it will throw an error and im sure they have some sort of exception handling in there coding, it will go something like this:

if file.exists("random.daf")
{
try
file.write("Loggedin")
//succefull
catch ex as exception
//didnt allow to write to this file!
//BAN THIS USER NAOW!
end
}

 

That'd be really a big facepalm. Jagex won't ban for a file being READ-ONLY. Come on.

Any idea how to do this on a mac? Don't feel like running windows every time i need to multi log (which is quite a lot).

Doesn't work for me D:, I opened the folder all ik can see is another folder inside of it 'Runescape' with .dll files and that's it nothing about these random stuff
