Roleplay Forum And/Or Story Forum

Other forums have this and some forums are even dedicated to only this. It is a lot of fun and there would be no harm in adding it to Sythe, either

For people who don't know...

Roleplaying on forums is basically collaborative story writing. One person (or more) comes up with an introduction that is a decent length that basically proposes a setting or a plot and then other people join by posting a bio (biography) of a character that they would control in the story and the person who created the introduction would have to accept them into the story. They have this on the Runescape forums which is how I found out about it like...seven years ago and it has been a lot of fun There could be subsections. Maybe one for people to keep character biographies or have a roleplay discussion subsection where people can post incomplete introductions to see if anyone would be want to join it. There could be a subsection for newcomers to roleplaying and then another for more experienced, etc.

Also proposing a normal story forum where people can just post their own story ideas/short stories/poems and get feedback from the community

I don't know who all would be interested in this, but I personally think it would be a good addition

 

I know the RS forum has something like this. It's an interesting idea, I'm just uncertain as to how much it would be used.

 

No support, though I am a veteran RPer I don't believe this is the sort of community that would RP. So I don't believe that this section would get a lot of activity and I think there are some better ideas for sections that should be implemented before this.

 

Trolls will fill it with gay/sex stories. It wouldn't work sorry.

lol, pretty much guarantee that would happen, although rules could be introduced for it.
Also, this can go on in the donators lounge, there a few game type threads there and it would probably be perfectly acceptable to go in the donators lounge.
