Sold them an account, they're saying it got recovered which is impossible because i haven't been on runescape in months. Is there any guide i can use to win the paypal chargeback? I'm fairly new to paypal and don't use it unless I'm sure the seller won't charge back, so its never happened to me before.

 

hehehehe guess what? you'll win the dispute. recover your account back which is super easy becuase they dont use recoveries and then for the dispute write a long ass paragraph about how they scammed u and stuff. then at the end put "a mod on the forums also told me to put that this is virtual goods, but i don't know what good saying this does."

You aren't meant to sell virtual items if I can remember.

Paypal are quite gay with virtual items.

 

You have more chances of winning the dispute if it's all about virtual goods. Haha.

All of the members that buy gold4FUNs account claim they get recovered. This is because if they do, they get however much they spent in free gold or another account. 99% Of the time, people who chargeback will win the case unless it says virtual item in the description if it does, just call that to their attention.

 

seriously, such bullshit, there have been numerous complaints regarding GOLD4RS scamming in thi section or the cheating sub-forum. anyway on topic, you'll be in a much stronger position if 'virtual goods' was on the notes

 

I've always lost disputes with Virtual Items that PayPal on their own dealt with. Be prepared to lose that dispute.

And GOLD4FUN are known scammers worldwide.

I have been in the same situation. The reason i won the dispute was because i said it was for virtual goods. I also recovered my account and never used gold4fun again.

I keep seeing these threads so I thought I would sell them an old account I don't use. Was offered $35 so I am now waiting the 7 days for the payment. Wonder if they will chargeback or let it be.

Why do people still fall for this scam. There is no way you can make an profit of flipping/reselling accounts. The RS recovery system just doesn't let this happen.
You will get scammed either way, buying or selling. Since Gold4Fun ALWAYS charges back the payment,and the original owner will be pissed off.

 

GOLD4FUN employees are all 15 year old pacific islanders living in the slums of shanghai in the basement of a factory getting paid two dollars per hour. They will scam you for you one way or another.
