Being impersonated in hackforums?

Mhm... so

I was told by Pockets that someone created an account with my name in hackforums, probably to post my msn and all that crap because they want me banned.

This already happened in mmoexchange(They were using my vouches thread), but that was resolved

How to handle this?

People have impostored me everywhere and it doesn't bother me because the emails are different as well as the IP.

 

Hmm, really makes me wonder why Pockets found that out. Anyways there's honestly nothing else to do than notifying moderators here that somebodys doing this before they find out themselves, and handle the situation incorrectly. Also as HHN's said the IP you guys post on would be different. You're in no danger, don't sweat it.

 

You think hackforum admins are going to give you an ip of a member because you asked them to?

I found this guy on HF, anyways, he's not using your msn, and he IS banned on sythe, his name is Chaotic Rapier on here.

 

Since the can't have access to your MSN, then you've got nothing to be afraid of.

 

Well, is this guy involved in their scams such as account recovering, DDOSing or whatever, if not, you should be fine anyway.

I think it would be best to inform mods too.

Like my previous statement how do you guys know that the hackforums ip is different?

hackforum admins are going to give you an ip of a member because you asked them to?

 

There's a great chance of framing. But I doubt staff bans that easily(unless they are new)

 

I mean people are saying that it's obviously a framing because the ip on here is different from the one on hackforums. How do the staff here find the ip of someone on hackforums?

 

I think that the mods won't sweat it too much because you are pretty trusted as it is and I don't think they would expect you to RAT or anything nasty like that.
Just ignore it.
