webclient to server connection help

Hey i just recently started getting into developing my own server, now i got a working webclient that im hosting now that took me forever to make the only problem is i have no clue how to connect it to a server, do i upload a server to my host? or do i have to do a No-IP / VPS sort of deal? also would this require to me to remake my entire JAR file for my webclient?
