Just going to have to wait for OpenGL.
Simba and RiD are only options atm.

Simba is not a bot in the same sense RSbuddy or Nexus are bots. Simba is a developer's IDE designed to run macroing scripts. The quality of the script depends completely on the skill of the programmer who wrote it. Reflection and BCEL clients previously made it easy for a developer code a script because the client could list the exact position/size/texture of any item/object in the loadable area. Without these tools "botting clients" must rely only on color and bitmaps to recognize the world around them...which is like trying to find a pile of shit in the middle of a maze with your eyes closed and only the sense of smell to lead you...

You'd be surprised what we can do with color, friend.

    More possibilities than reflection even.

Also, the OP is a bit misinformed.. There hasn't been a ban wave in a long time.. No one was banned with the update to break reflection bots.. The only projected numbers regarding bans was the amount over the past year banned..

Yes, RiD is relatively safe and undetectable, but the quality of the bots aren't up to standards of RSBuddy or Nexus.

Nexus (RSBots) and Powerbot keep delaying their progress reports, saying they will be back. But to be honest; they won't be back.

SCAR or Simba i hear works, but again, the quality is not great. It is also know n for having viruses and trojans - thought to be a myth, it is NOT.

    hope this helps :)

I'm sorry, I'm just trying to help out the person who started the threat.

There's no need for raging, I'm honestly just trying to help.

If our opinions clash, then that is understandable, but let's tone it down a little, and try not to spam this poor thread.

    Thanks.

You're giving false accusations (with no proof) on a trusted program to people who've never even tried it. I suggest you do a little more research before you start pointing fingers.

Yeah, I have used Simba since the nuke and no virus. So you are just bull-shitting on that.

    Uh.. no they don't; you're a moron.

Color and OpenGL/DirectX macros is where I see botting headed.

Give it time, there will be some new an efficient bots out in a few months time, you think this is the first time jagex has taken action against botters... it will allways be a part of the game just like trade limit fixed RWT? No it just made it more of a pain in the ass and easier to get scammed/banned.

I script for simba I know what can be done with it. SRL is amazing but it will never be able to compete on the same level as BCEL/Reflection bots.

It hooks the openGL renderer and detects models. It's like color-detection on crack. Not quite up to the standards of reflection/bcel/ but pretty damn close.

Seeing as Reflection is just reading the classes and taking information from them it is undetectable in the way you are putting it. However does no one else get the hunch that JaGeX will now have detection measures in place for anything that modifies the client such as a BCEL/ASM Bot by methods of injection seeing as they only publicly stated to be targeting Reflection bots with the bot nuke so surely they setup a detection system so that when people decided not to use Reflection and BCEL/ASM they'd be easily detected.

Saying they were only targeting reflection was a mistake made by the site editors. The update targeted everything by making it very difficult to grab client data. Previously it would look for ids in objects but Jagex decided to store every thing in a massive array that changes everytime you log in... It's just good obfuscation that and most bot developers know that it would be futile to grab data like this.

OpenGl reflection on the other hand is the future of botting if it were to continue. Because the next best thing to actually knowing what item is what is knowing what model it is and surmise the rest which is much more efficient then color/bitmaps...

The update of the bot-nuke or cluster flutterer? If you are correct then this puts my hunch away and makes a lot more sense.

Now as for OpenGL reflection, it would still require updating everytime there's an update correct? That's why I love optical recognition because for the most part no hooks are needed so it works unless a graphical change is made which sets it off target. So soon it will be optical recognition vs openGL.

Nope, because from what I've seen at a non public forum, the source code that was posted a year ago still works today.

RiD/Simba are the future, reflection bots will never come back.

No, just everytime they switch up models which is almost never.
