Did anyone else notice?

I just logged on roughly 8:10 am Easter time this morning and I noticed I was skulled in claws and in the wild with half HP and prayer. I would never log out in the wild with claws on. The reason I would be standing there is because I was rushing people last night for about 3-4 hours.

My observations as for why I was logged out up there was that my account had been rolled back, not the stats roll back like from botting, but the time my account had been logged in rolled back.. If that makes sense. When I went to sleep last night, I logged out near GE with 4.1m or so in my money pouch. This morning I log in (approximately 6 hours later) in the wild, skulled, in my rushing gear, with 9.1m in my money pouch and my flipping items in my ge back to what they were before I logged out last night..

My question is, did anyone else experience this? I'm thinking I may have just been around someone that had found a glitch in world two whom profited off of something and got their account reset back a few hours and for everyone around that person they checked to see if any money displacement was sent to, or something like that. Let me know if anyone else experienced this.

 

Might be a server bug or crash resulting in a back up of a few hours. Not really a major roll back.

 

Yeah, something along that line. I knew something was strange when I logged in not at GE. I wonder what the bug was that made them revert a few hours.

Also for anyone else reading, the IP address was mine for the last login, so no, no one was on my account.

 

I really wish Jagex would teleport people to safe areas after "rolling-back" to a back-up. I can imagine the amount of people dying in a dangerous spot the moment they log in believing they are safe.

 

Luckily enough I was sitting right at my computer at the time to realize it. Sometimes I just log in and walk away for a few mins or so. This was a good time to stay

Never heard of this happening. People should be cautious though as you could lose bank

 

This has happened to me once, had to make a few trades again. Pretty unreal stuff when you log out/log back in within 20 minutes. lol.

 

Server rollbacks are a pretty big thing for Jagex, so I think we would have heard about it if they had done one.

Then again there's not really any other explanation...

Yes, it's weird that I haven't heard from anyone else about it though. I think they only announced 1 publicly anyway which was the one after the dung glitch for RC xp (correct me if I'm wrong).

 

Maybe when you logged out, the Server forgot *was unable* to save your new character data. Thus you experienced a so called rollback.

 

They really should warn you about something like this. With a message before you completely log in or something. At least to give you a heads up.

 

Imagine that you lended your friend a white PHat before you got the rollback...

 

On YouTube I saw a vid of this guy staking a purple for a purple, he won the stake logged out.
he then logged back in a few minutes later to find that JaGeX had done a server role, he was rolled back just before the stake :|

in other words he lost a purple because of it.

 

When did this happen? I remember hearing about a server rollback in some european worlds.

There was talk yesterday about an apparant money pouch glitch where some people made a ton of money. I haven't heard anything about it since yesterday, but perhaps there was a minor "reset" of the servers or something and your account was affected by it?

Either way, that is very strange. Kind of eerie actually.

 

This happened to me last weeks! I disconnected after rs was really slow in the middle of a clue scroll and it set me back 2/3 clues, I had been at the location about to solve one and came back at the point where I hadn't solved any, just getting the clue from the hell hound
