Minor Work Problem, Need Help

Recently I signed up to become a "chacha" Guide. I'm really interested in making money online so I signed up and when through all video tutorials and so on. I passed all of the basic tests, and I passed the final readiness test with flying colors (top 5% of all who have attempted the test). Now the only problem is I have to set up an online banking account and I am in fact a minor. Please do not reply by saying "your a minor get over it you can't work don't even try" type of deal. I am wondering if I could get around having to include a ssn (social securities number) and tax payer id. I'm guessing my parents would gladly help me if need be but will this be possible to pull off? I'm in need of money and would gladly work, hell I'm probably more intelligent and more qualified than some of the people who are currently employed. Does the application say anywhere that you must be at least 18 years of age? If it does then it probably won't work, or will take a lot of lying and help from your parents. Probably not even worth it.

If the application didn't, then ask your parents to help you out, and you should be golden pony boy.

They need your SSN for tax reason. It's unlikely that you will be able to work without it.

Also, I'm pretty sure that ChaCha is a pretty awful way to make money now. With something like 2 cents for each expediter question, you'd have to answer a question every 10 seconds or so just to make minimum wage. More realistically, you're gonna be pulling about $1-2 per hour. Is there a reason you don't want a fast food or other irl job?

 

^^^^ Pockets, I would be an expert "I get `10-15 Cents" per question. I'm a very fast researcher and could potentially get around 10 dollars an hour which is nice for an "at home job" Also couldnt my parents just make the bank account for me? They agreed if they could also cha cha cant even check who is doing the job wheter it be my parents or me.

 

There *may* be ways around it if you get one of your parents names down on paper, and the payments get directed to them. Because ChaCha wouldn't actually know who is working for them, you could be doing the work but on paper it says that it is either your mom or dad who is employed by them, and recieving the payments.

This isn't the best solution, just an idea off the top of my head. This isn't exactly legal though, and not the best idea, but I don't see how it would really get you in any trouble or anything. Do your parents support you in this? Try talking to them and see if they can help you out by finding a loophole in the system or setting up some things for you.

If you don't think they will be supportive of it and it doesn't look like its going to happen, there is always a "real" job where you can atleast be guaranteed minimum wage.

 

Your parents should be able to co-sign a bank account for you.
