DECEMBER UPDATE: Money Pouch - Store More Than Max Cash!!!!

Finaly a good update!keep up the good work jagex

 

I staked a hell of a lot last night, It was much better for the money to keep going in the pouch then using the money in the pouch to stake, very good update.

 

lol they changed on coins in dungeoneering to "rusty coins" Also i think they changed the examine text on rsgp (not sure though).

anyways on topic, i just wished they keep the same old basic way. Like someone said earlier, we have shards/other stable items. u can buy christmas crackers in ge for max cash and have it sit there... Jagex are just doing too much with all of these updates to be honest...

 

all this update does is make me want to delete my bank pin..... they should let people turn it off

 

I'm not sure why people are complaining about this update. But it's a fucking good one

That is the maximum signed number that can be represented with 32 bits(what most older computers use) although if they used 32-bit unsigned max could have been double that dunno why they didn't do that.

You dont have to withdraw the cash from the pouch to spend it. If you have the money in the pouch it is the exact same as if it was in your inventory. So you closing the GE to take money out of the pouch to your inventory to buy stuff on the GE is unnecessary. You dont need cash in your bag to buy stuff at the store or GE or pay for ships or anything else you could buy. As long as it is in your pouch its considered in your bag like before.

Also you dont lose your coins upon death unless it is in the wild so you can run around dying by any creature outside of the wild and all of your coins will still be there.

And yet another thing when you are doing tasks you now get the gold directly put in your pouch instead of having to go to Lumby to claim the monetary rewards for each one.

There is no negative side to this feature just like there is no negative part to the toolbelt. So you will have to wait till the next update to find something to cry about. I suggest maybe whining about some old updates in the mean time to keep you occupied.

My money pouch is already glitching (the icon flashes continuously, sometimes it does not even appear, haha).

OT: Stupid feature to implement in my opinion.

You pretty much hit the nail on the head with what I was going to say. There is no negative effect of this new addition, or the new tool belt. It's impossible to keep everyone happy, and it seems a lot of people just look for a reason to bash Jagex for ANYTHING they decide to do for the game, whether it be useful or not. It grows old.

I agree, however, that there should be a toggle option for those of you that, for whatever reason, decide not to use the pouch. I will most definitely be using it, as well as the tool belt. I love these new updates.

 

Do you lose your money if you die with it?

 

I like the update. Although sometimes when I don't want my money to be in the pouch, I trade with someone and after we decline trade, it automatically returns to my pouch. Would be nice if Jagex fixed that.

 

Same thing happened to me mate. I guess it automatically moves your cashpile from the bank into your pouch, so I thought I got "wiped" by Jagex when I peeked in my bank and saw 1gp sitting there. Nearly shat myself until I realized the new money pouch icon under the minimap was showing all my coins :laugh:

For some reason I don't like the feeling of carrying all my coins around with me. I am going to continue to keep my coins in the bank, minus a few mil that I will cart around to pay NPC's, travel costs, small GE expenses, etc.

 

Didn't Jagex say the coins in your pouch are safe or something along those lines?

 

It is but personally i still do not feel comfortable carrying around alot of gold. I like it mostly for the collecting of coins during slayer tasks, accumulation goes a long way.
