Fastest magic exp!

Im currently 60 mage on my pure, need 99.

Whats better: alching yew longs, or superheating gold bars with guants ?

Superheating is a little faster magic exp/hr and you also end up getting about 75k+ smithing exp/hr. The overall combined ends up being around 150-200k exp/hr.

However, using high alch is really easy to do without concentrating.

I just superheated a few thousand gold ore recently for smithing exp, and the magic exp was really good, and fast. But it requires much more concentration and can get boring fast.

The beauty with high alching is that you can just set up your mousekeys and click the "5" key repeatedly without even looking at the screen. Great for watching movies.

Maybe you could try rotating between the 2 different methods, depending on how lazy you are feeling that day?

 

Alching is cheaper tho.

i would recommend alching and watching vids, might be slower xp but its less clicking and concentration needed

 

You will need 240,768 gold ores for 99 magic.
240,768 gold ore is 49,357,440gp
240,768 gold bars is 22,874,670gp
240,768 nature runes 57,062,016
Youll loose 83,544,786gp on 99.
You'd get 13,531,161 smithing xp also.

I'd just alch, use an auto clicker @ w44 soul wars bank.

 

Personally I would do neither, I would make hunter kits, yes it costs about 40m for 99but the exp per hour is insane. It can cap around 150k xp/hr

 

I'd go with super heating because not only do you get Magic xp but also Smithing XP as well

I personally would go with alching as Smelting seems too much work.

 

Superheating if you have no life and spend your whole time concentrated on runescape, otherwise alching with a bot would be decent.
