Advice needed on buying an account please.

History
I used a play runescape a few years ago back in college. Was pretty wealthy with phats etc.. Made a decent pker main. Then jagex decided to get rid of the wilderness (you may remember) and so I quit. I tried to sell my account but stupidly got caught in the process and was perm banned.

Plan
Anyway xmas is coming and I have a lot of time off work. I'm looking to revisit my youth and buy a good pker just to mess around with over this period. Zerker pure or mage/range tank. Will get about 20m as well for pk supplies. I am an adult so don't mind spending £100 or so (UK resident). Looking for a trusted, straight talking dealer to buy from.

Questions
As I am unknown on the forum my legitimacy will obviously be questioned so I may need to 'pay first'. I am a little unsure how this all works. I had a little read and saw that you can select a trusted middle man. So would I just send cash via pay pal to the middle man (plus a little added for his trouble) and the seller send details to the middle man??

Precautions
What precautions must be put in place to avoid someone taking back a purchased account???

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I have my eye on a zerker pure on the forum already.

I would suggest not buying an account here, though many people will tell you it's the safest site ever. It's not.
There are scammers rampant, and even moreso in the account selling section.

If you do buy here though try to select someone with over 1-1.5k posts, and look at their vouches, do a recovery check. Basically, everything I neglected to do.

 

You WILL need an official middle man, one that has LOTS of middleman experience. You will pass the money on to the middleman, they will check the account, do a recovery test and if all is successful, you get the account, if you are happy with it the middleman gives you recovery details and passes the money on to the seller.

This is the only way everyone should trade, its not 100% safe, but its the closest you will get. You will filter out 99% of scammers by saying you WILL be using an OMM, no exceptions.

Other precautions you can take are;

Never go first
Ask for a PM from the user, showing their msn email (just to make sure you have the right person)
Don't let anyone convince you to not use a middleman
Even if they say they are going first, pay a middleman to do the recovery test and hold the details and money.

Just be careful, don't always rule out people new to the forum as they aren't all scammers like the guy above so rudely said D:

Everyone was a newcomer at one point, just don't give in to anyone. Stick to your terms, and be over cautious.
