What the hell happened in the past 4-5 months????

I keep reading threads saying there's only certain few botting companies up & running.. Could anyone fill me in on this and how this happened??

Is there anyway i can get a refund from rsbots or am I screwed? or just hope to god they come back some way some how..

No refunds, I feel the same way, I bought a ton of bots that I planned to use in the future but have not touched it, I tried to get a refund but no luck. Botting is dead, Rsbots/Buddy are stalling to keep their community but I believe all reflection bots are done for. Simba/Scar/RiD are the only ones up and working although RiD has been receiving DDoS attacks and have been unreliable since the bot nuke, your money is not retrievable unless you chargeback but that would be considered scamming so I would not advise that, they have a return policy of which you may return in 7 days or so.

 

Nexus said that they will be back soon (idk if its true). But you can't refund since you bought a "item" from Paypal.

 

Them advertising auths as "lifetime" might be grounds for a chargeback, but other than that, I don't know what you could do. Also, that's probably only possible for transactions in the last 6 months.

If you've been using the bots awhile, charging back may be morally questionable, depending on your circumstances. Since I don't know whether you hadn't used them for the most part before the nuke or not, I'm not going to tell you whether or not I think you should.

I have been offline completely for about 4-5 months, as I was getting bored with everything, i used the bots for about [EDIT: 4 HOURS A DAY]4hours (wcer, kminer, and other ones but those are the main ones) then nexus did that update to where its only 1 bot per auth, which put a damper in my plan but also helped at the same time. Think i'll just wait and see what happens, if i try to charge back I have a feeling only bad things can come of it, Since i only put in actual $20 into it the rest of it came from runescape, i'll just take this as a lesson..

 

That's definitely what I would do. Since it was so long ago, the odds of you winning are unclear, and the amount is so low, I would just suck up the loss and move on to whatever else you have planned.

 

One last question,

What was the 'Nuke'? and how did it just STOP most/all of the bots?

 

It blocked all reflection & injections by making the codes of all the things in Runescape update constantly.

 

But color bots were completely unaffected by it.

 

I still don't understand what they did to shut down these huge ass companies..

 

to put it in simple terms, they changed the ways runescape read and sends data and made it much more difficult for bots to read.

 

Jagex actually took initiative for once...
