    Girlfriend and Christmas

First off my GF is going to Ohio on the 19th-28th so now I need to get her a present but Idk what to get her. Like I'd get her clothes but she has a ton already. I'm thinking jewlery but I don't wanna spend $200 on something she wouldn't like.

    Need some ideas.

Electronics Dj weasel like Apple itouch/ipad/ipod or maybe an Amazon Kindle Fire if she likes to read. Maybe a Canon Powershot...

I was thinking a camera but she is getting one from her dad I believe.

I gave her a brand new white touch a few months ago :( She won't be getting a iPad before me lol

Hmmmm I might not be around when she leaves, so that's kinda outta the question.

Try a necklace shaped like a key. A silver one goes with most things. I got one for Christmas last year and I wear it every day. They are the style right now.

Get a necklace in the shape of a heart or something. I'm sure she will love that:)

Sentimental gifts are always a huge plus as well. Can't go wrong with a scrapbook, a storybook, or a bunch of small meaningful gifts.

I talk to my girlfriend's "bestfriend" all the time on ideas for her and she mainly keeps talking about a necklace with a heart involved. I'd look into that.. most people want or like that.

I don't know how close you are.

They say get something like an iPod/iPad with your favourite songs loaded onto it. I don't know if that's good.

Gemstones of her birthday. Massage gift certificates to do together, pampering stuff.

^ This is a great idea, although I'm not sure if its what your looking for Djweasel? However, I thought I would regurgitate something I suggested to another guy who posted a similar thread. His situation was a bit different though as he specifically needed something that didn't take alot of money. It sounds like you have some cash, but I promise you that this would be 10x more meaningful and effective than any material item would.

Yes, I just quoted myself :p

This is just an idea, and could be added in combination with a material gift (like a camera that you mentioned) in varying degrees. Anyways, good luck! I hope this helps you somewhat or helps to create the perfect idea in your head.

I said in another thread try getting a bracelet or piece of jewelery which can hold a quote and get something written which you both loved.

Look into concert/show tickets. If you can find something that she likes and is playing the week that she comes back, you'll be golden. She'll be looking forward to it the whole time she's gone and you're the reason for it.

I'm thinking jewelry now but the letter thing is a good one.

Concerts. Haha Friday she went to Brett michaels and I was bad news. And we don't really have many concerts up here. I need to go on to some jewelry stores and look around since there's not much here either.

Take her to the mall, stop in a jewlery store. Just "look" around, ask her if she liked anything here before you leave. Then buy it, and say merry christmas.

Theres an engravement store in town where I live that offers all sorts of items that you can engrave. Anything from jewellry, to flasks, to little statues with plaques at the bottom and lots of other things. I like the idea of a ring/necklace/bracelet with your names engraved. Maybe get matching ones so it makes it even more meaningful?

Could you not ask a friend what she likes, or what your gf's friends would like and then buy that for her.

But, as they say, it's the idea that counts :p
