Well, the old one is long dead, by a banned user, etc. Thought I'd make a new one for all you NBA fans to discuss the great game.

So now the NBA has finally resolved the lockout and now that it's coming back (best Christmas present ever)... make some predictions for the upcoming season.​

So excited. Any big trades going down or being talked rumoured? Any star players not playing this season?

 

It's been rumoured Shane Battier and Greg Oden may go to the heat, if this happens, and Oden is healthy, this may be the team that wins the rings, if anything, best team on 2k12!!

 

It won't happen. Maybe Battier, but they need a point and a big man. Oden will probably get more than the 5mil MLE that the heat can offer.
They are unfair already on 2k12 though :/

I think heat will be a top contender for the title again this year but im not to worried. If Dwight goes to Bulls that shit will be amazing. I shotgun Jeremy Lin/JaJuan Johnson to be rookie of the year.

My Chicago Bulls are gonna win the NBA championship.

 

They moreso need a big man, I'm 100% sure if they get battler and Oden it would be wade at pg, lebron sg, battler sf, bosh Pf and Oden center. There is no doubt in my mind that is a championship team

 

Dwight to chicago with rose would be sick.

 

If Oden went to the Heat that would be sick, I think their problem is finding a decent C. I also heard rumors of Dwight looking for homes around Los Angeles...(?)

Chicago is going all the way... Rose likes to choke under pressure though, that's what happend last year.

 

not really man, rose can only put the team on his back so far, what bulls need is another all-star to help him out, all championship teams always have someone else to help out, rose did a fucking good job putting the bulls on his back only to lose to a 3-star miami heat

I'm hoping KD takes the Thunder far this year. He has a lot of talent and actually deserves to compete with teams like the Lakers, Celtics, etc. Westbrook and Harden can support him on their way to the top.

Either Chris Paul or Dwight might end up on the Lakers, but there's also the slight chance of Chris Paul heading over to the Knicks to play with his buddy Carmelo.

 

I agree, but Oden can never stay healthy enough to even play, so...

It would never happen tbh.
