How long does GE limit lasts?

Dh helm limit - 10 per x hours
I've put an offer of 30 dh helms and went to bed, after 8 hours i had them bought. So whats the limit?

Every 4 hours i'm pretty sure.

 

from my knowledge ik runes are 25k per 4 hours. so its prob 4 hours for all items.

 

It IS 4 hours. What happened in your case was:

0 hours - bought 10
4 hours - bought 10
8 hours - bought 10

 

4 hours but there are ways to manipulate it

i know it used to be 10 barrows items per 4 hrs but idk now:/ maybe every hour?

 

As BeeStar has said , the first 10 bought within the first hour . Then after 4 hours , another 10 bought . Finally , at 8 hours the final 10 bought equaling up to 30 Helms .

 

Barrows Items - 10/4 Hours
Runes - 25k/4 Hours
Arrows - 10k/4 Hours

 

yeah it's 4 hours but I don't get really why jagex put it
it's just dump, well that's what I think about it anyway

 

The GE limit is 4 hours for everything, as far as I'm aware. Each type of items varies and has its own limits though. Just like No Rage Quiting said above me ^.

GE limits are X number per 4 hours.

Within that 4hours you are allowed to buy/sell through GE unlimited number of times. However the most number of items you are allowed to purchase is the limit

Example:
Limit 20/4h
Buy 20
Sell 10 (you can purchase another 10)
Buy 10 (limit reached)
