    School's Fundraising Ideas

Not sure where to post it, so might as well post it in the General topic, and I'm going to make a similar/copy version in the Assets and Investment section as well, since we are all about Fundraising.

Here's a little insight to what I'm talking about, I'm sure most of you had various and different clubs and committee and all that, and one of them is like fundraising for better equipment in school and fun activities and such.

However, we are almost out of ideas, and I'm sick and tired of using the same thing over and over again, or what you guys call it, a cliche.

So here I am, begging for some ideas, or perhaps you might have an interesting one from your school that I could spread to mine :) let happiness spread around the world and the smiles be contagious.

Just post, topic-relevant thanks! Any idea will be appreciated, the more you have, the better :), also try to keep it festive-relevant too, such as for Halloween, we had invested in cheap stuff and packed them in to what we call them "Halloween Packs" and sold them at a higher price to the students, not of course an outrageous price, but an affordable price so we could raise some money from an investment.

Here's some ideas to get your minds clickin', Christmas is coming! What should we do? Exams are a stress, any ideas? Perhaps something more original? Just let your creativity flow!

Bake sale is always a good one, especially for around Christmas time.

We're currently using iFluRtz as our main fundraiser at our school. It's worked pretty well over the last 2 years since we started. I highly suggest it as it is no money down.

My school made a "bowling" event like 5 years ago to fund our trip to Washington and Boston, it was quite a good idead. Each student had to get his own friends or familly members to come bowl, we had a deal with the local bowling so this helped

I know this is old BUT I want to put something down :) Have a Car Smash. My school had 4-6 car Smashings my Highschool years. They smashed cars (Junk ones) For money :) LOTS of people payed to hit a car with a sludge hammer. Also another good way is Town water ballon fights, where most people in the town come together and have a massive water ballon fight. I live in a town of 1700 it happens with us every now and than. Another one they had during the warmer months where teacher sponging. Which was throwing sponges at teachers for money. It was like $5.00 for 8 sponges :D I had a blast espcially since I had a few sponges that weren't theres harder/easier to throw. The last way of having a good Fundraiser I remember was Dodgeball Tournaments for the whole town to come in. All ags all day on Saturday. It was the best lol.. We had like 600 people show up and we had the Gym full of people watching and throwing dodgeballs at eacherother. Having age groups was better than so nobody got stuck with like a 8 year old and a 36 year old man with a cannon for a arm. :) Thanks for letting me post here.
