My friend does this with both Steelseries & Razer.
Assuming it is what I think it is, it would count as fraud and is illegal.

I obviously don't know what exactly is in your guide though. I just hope it's not what I think it is.

If you actually bothered to read what I wrote, you would clearly see that I said:

I'm not accusing your guide of being fraudulent, I'm just suggesting that I hope it isn't. I cannot make accusation of your guide being fraudulent or not because I obviously haven't read it.

When you reply to me with such arrogance it will just make people think that the guide could indeed be fraudulent and that your getting too defensive.
Instead you should come back and assure me that the guide is NOT fraudulent - hence it would put me - a potential customer in a position where I would consider purchasing the guide.

I was considering purchasing this - I just wanted to make sure it wasn't a fradulent guide that do crop up occasionally here on Sythe. I no longer wish to purchase it however since you seem to have something to hide.

 

I have nothing to hide. I don't expect people to post here unless they have a question about my guide or would like to buy it. Chill out bro. I already sold a copy and they are very satisfied with it. Also I don't see anywhere in the rules in this section saying social engineering is not allowed. Emperor_Nero is not a Moderator so what he says does not matter to me.

He is saying that social engineering guides are not allowed - which is like asking "is this a social engineering guide?".
He hasn't purchased the guide, so how would he know if it's a social engineering guide? It's your duty to reassure him and anybody who comes past this thread that your guide is NOT a social engineering guide.

Regarding to what I said - it's like me asking you - "is this fradulent? e.g. contacting steelseries, pretending you have a product, tell them it arrived broken when it was delivered, then get them to send you a new one" - i expect you to answer my question and reassure me that it is not that.

I'm just trying to help you out mate/get you more sales, because it looks bad when somebody asks a question who WAS a potential buyer then you reply with "stop teh flame bro". Seems like your dodging something.

No, Emperor_Nero is not a moderator. However wouldn't you classify him as a potential customer? Just because he's not a moderator doesn't mean you shouldn't have to reply to his question lol. The customer is always right, and in order for you to sell your guide you need to answer any questions that come across to ensure the public that your guide is clean which will result in more customers...
