    You think it would be safe to run RS on a public wifi? Its on my own laptop though.

    Just curious because I don't wanna end up losing 2b+ lol

    The chances of having someone in your hotel canvassing ports looking for your connection is already kinda low. Then adding that person being a RS player/merchant..

    I think you're safe. :)

    I'm kind of confused what your asking. You're not going to get hacked just by using a public connection. How ever I wouldn't high risk stake or pk cause you don't know how reliable the connection is you don't want it to randomly drop or something like that.

    If it's non-hotel wifi I would just wait it out. There's always a bit of risk.

    Yeah lol, even if someone IS monitoring activity in the hotel, I think they'd be looking for Credit Cards, PayPals, AlertPay accs, etc.

    You should be totally safe. I went on a trip a month or so ago and stayed in a hotel for a few days and I played RS for a few hours here and there on the trip. Hotels usually have quite a secure internet connection too so I wouldn't be too worried.

    OT: As the others have mentioned the chances are very low, however, if you really value it that much i wouldn't bother. I also believe there are web browser plugins to prevent things like this from happening.
