Did anyone abuse this?

The Vampyrism Aura restores lifepoints by 5% of what you hit, and until recently you could use it in the duel arena. So I'm wondering did anyone make huge $$ off this? Or was this just a missed opportunity that nobody took advantage of.

your not allowed to use auras in dueling, no one can challenge you.

 

There was a period of time where this was overlooked by Jagex, so my question is was anyone able to take advantage of this.

being as noone has been complaining, and they can see theres an aura they prob din't get abuse to much lol.

 

I lost 150m to that glitch.

 

Seems to me I've heard kids crying over lost mils at the casino,
Can't say for sure if I heard about an auras glitch in particular

 

I'm kicking myself that I bought penance...

Haha this was the first thing I tried when I bought the aura, It made me bank in boxing<3:love:

 

No one that says they lost to this "glitch" would have known they lost because of an aura. They would only know if the person told them they lost because of that.

So, unless someone made a YT vid about it, it may have been kept within a small group of people if they did know about it.

 

They don't even work in duels, none of them do. its all pvm related, not pvp related.

 

You need to read a bit more thoroughly. It WORKED in the duel arena until it was FIXED. What's so complicated about that? Of course it doesn't work now, and of course it was never meant to work in the duel arena.

 

Was abused but was not leaked, not much was made.

 

This 5% was little since you were only kicking and punching and gave a slight advantage. The other person wouldn't notice and would think its a legit box. But better the chances , better the profit in the end

 

i used to have a friend who staked like that, he still lost though so it wasn't that big of a boost

I hate how i never hear about glitches till they get patched. I never saw any videos on youtube though. I bypassed this because when I had my aura on I couldnt duel somebody, so I just thought no auras worked in duel arena. Was it a smuggle or just normal?

 

my friend used it for a couple box, it's not a gauranteed win but it definetely adds "5%" chances of winning
