Frost Dragon Bones - worth the money?

Is it worth using Frost Dragon Bones to train prayer? I'm 89 pray and I need 95 for turmoil, but I don't wanna blow my bank..

Just wanna hear the thoughts on this, thanks.

 

If you want it faster, then go on and use frost dragon bones but obviously that will cost more. You can't really ask this kind of question from anyone else but yourself.

 

From 90-95, it costs around 60m for Dragon bones. 100m for Frosts. I say go for Dragon Bones. I'm in the same position as you, and I'm doing Dragons.

I think i'm gonna go for frosts, but the only problem is you can only buy 1k at a time, I went W2 didn't find anybody selling them.

 

ask some friends to buy some for you. or you can do 1k frost bones and 3k d bones in a cycle as its 1k per 4 hours.

 

I bought 15k dbones per 4 hours, lol.

 

Frosts cost about 22.5m GP/hr to spend (for 800k exp/hr). Dragon bones cost about 9m/hr (for about 320k exp/hr). If you time is honestly worth the $7/13m difference per hour, then use frosts. Otherwise, use Dragon Bones.

 

d bones and frosts are different, they have different limits.

 

In my honest opinion, Frosties are NOT worth it.

I am a firm believer that time = money, and I usually go the fast, lazy route to achieving any sort of stat that I want, no matter the cost. But in the cash of doing prayer, Frosties are just so damn expensive that to me, the cost is not worth it.

It would be much smarter to go with Dragon bones, or even infernal ashes. These might take awhile (atleast a good solid week of playing all day), but you will save MILLIONS. Back when I get turmoil, I payed 70M for 70-95 prayer because I bought infernal ashes. The difference with my situation though, was that I had many more reqs to fill before I could even GET turm, so I just plugged away at those slowly while I ran ashes in between.

I would suggest calculating up the costs, and the amount of item you would have to carry to the altar for each item. And then calculate up the total time it would take you to run there (in hours), and figure out from there what is the best choice for you, the time you have to play, and your budget. Good luck!

 

Yes, just do what i did, dragon bones to 90, then frost to 95.

 

Unless you have something in-mind for the 40m, I'd do Frosties.

UNLESS, you make money at a slow rate...then stick with D bones, 300k isnt bad at all, especially if you get a runner, my friend said he got 75-95 in 2 days with a runner.
